About Richard

Born in Birmingham, violinist and pianist Richard Toomer started playing music from a very early age. With the support and backing from his music loving parents Richard went on to achieve grade 8 on both the violin (with distinction) and the piano. He then went on to study for his B.A (Hons) at one of the top music colleges in the country -The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.

Richard has a real passion for all genres of music and although he trained as a classical musician he has gone on to establish himself as an accomplished and versatile performer. His current repertoire includes classical, pop, rock, jazz and musical theatre right through to film music and jazz.
