EVSQ back at Upton Barn and Walled Gardens

Today, we played at the very beautiful Upton Barn & Walled Garden. The sun was shining, but pegs were definitely needed to stop the music flying away!
We played a variety of pop tunes before the ceremony including Adventure of a Lifetime, Higher Love and Love is all around. The bridal party arrived to the song Everywhere by Fleetwood Mac and the happy couple requested Viva La Vida to be played as they left the ceremony.

Winter wedding in Totnes.

Totnes Guildhall Wedding November 30th 2024. Nice to play in a unique setting. Always nice when we are asked to play from our classical repertoire. Beautiful music like Wedding Day at Troldhaugen (Grieg) and Tchaikovsky Waltz Des Fleurs. This was complemented by the brides entrance (moonlight Serenade) and exit music (Nobody Does it Better - 007). Richard was happy because we also got to play a lot of Beatles songs as well.

EVSQ at Hotel Endsleigh! Tavistock.

June 10th 2023 Hotel Endsleigh. Fabulous but very warm summer wedding at the stunning Hotel Endsleigh near Tavistock. Stunning drive from this side of Devon and well worth it. We played Canon in D for the brides entrance, A Thousand Years and Salut D'Amour for the signing of the register. The wedding party and guests made their exit to 'Wedding Day at Troldhaugen' by Grieg. This was a special piece for the groom who was from Norway as were many of the guests. We then played some more classical favourites and some pop classics including our Abba medley for the drinks reception. Great day!
