I had the privilege of playing for a beautiful summer wedding at Upton Barn & Walled Garden on Saturday. Congratulations to Ellen and James on your beautiful wedding day. I was a surprise for the guests today so had to wait until Ellen's entrance to play. She walked down the isle to 'Enchanted' by Taylor Swift which works so well for the violin. During the signing of the register I played two more new pieces to me, 'Little Things' by One Direction and 'I guess Im in Love' by Clinton Kane. Again great for the solo violin. Solo Violinist Wedding - St Anne’s House Plymouth. This was my first visit to St Anne’s House near Plymouth and what a beautiful location. Beautiful open rural feel with the sea as the backdrop for the ceremony. I was booked to play for the ceremony and the drinks reception yesterday and with it being outdoors I went with my electric violin. Alice walked into ‘You are the Reason’ by Callum Scott and the wedding party left the ceremony to ‘Wildest Dreams’ to give the moment a Bridgerton feel. It was a really lovely day at another beautiful location in South Devon.

Britannia Royal Naval College - dinner and drinks reception before the Boxing! This was my first gig of 2026 as a soloist. It was certainly a little different to my other gigs. I provided a back drop of live music on electric violin including some rock and pop covers, some easy listening, a bit of light jazz and Blues, musical theatre and of course the theme tune to Rocky! I even had a spot on the balcony to watch the boxing afterwards. A great experience for me.
