Some lovely music choices today including Over the Rainbow and a new arrangement of the original Cinderella tune ‘So this is love’. We even got to meet two very special guests. You just can’t beat a sunny autumnal October wedding. Always a pleasure to play at Rockbeare Manor. I played my bespoke a cappella arrangement of The Feather Theme from Forrest Gump for the entrance of the bridal party which was really lovely. Lovely autumn wedding today at Pynes House. Lots of classical repertoire today including Meditation and Claire de Lune. Entrance music was the gorgeous Kissing You. Great to be back playing with Exe Valley String Quartet after a few solo gigs away.  So nice to play some challenging classical repertoire as well for a very appreciative audience.

To end a busy week of gigs with Exe Valley String Quartet The Exe Valley String Trio played a lovely wedding at Harefield Barn We love this venue. A gorgeous setting for a wedding with really lovely staff. We played I Giorni, Sweet Disposition and Everlasting Love amongst a range of other hits... and the weather was kind to us.

It feels like our second home. Rockbeare Manor. Another August wedding with the Exe Valley String Quartet. The bride made her stunning entrance to Pachelbels Canon and we played All of me and Halo in the signing. We even got to play our funky version of Toxic in the reception. Great gig today.

Out with the Exe Valley String Quartet today playing at a wedding. First time at Lupton House for a while. We played two brand new bespoke arrangements from our ever expanding repertoire. Chapel of Love and You are my first my last my everything by the legendary Barry White. You know it kind of worked for string quartet ok! Yesterday I played my first gig at Mount Edgecombe House. Such a great venue for a wedding. A lovely sunny day and I got to play some Enya which sounds so beautiful on the violin.

Wow! What an amazing place to play. Love Mapperton House & Gardens I played for a small intimate wedding in the gardens and then played for the drinks reception and photos. Busy couple of days for the Exe Valley String Quartet. We played at another new venue for us in Plympton last Saturday. Lovely venue. We played for the drinks reception only today with a lot of requests for film music. We love playing the film themes and today we got to play lots, including Jurrasic Park, Star Wars, Gladiator and of course Toy Story. Another lovely sunny Devon wedding. Slightly different gig today. Classical violin pre ceremony while the guests had a drink. Electric violin tunes for the post ceremony drinks. Kept it upbeat and lively! Lovely gig.

Wow! What a beautiful venue @coombelodgeblagdon . Lovely summer wedding in the gorgeous sunshine. Full day today. Violin for the wedding ceremony and the drinks reception. This included the lovely A Thousand Years for the brides entrance and my new arrangement of signed sealed delivered by Stevie Wonder for the exit music. Then I moved onto piano to accompany the wedding breakfast. Great day at a beautiful venue.

Lovely wedding reception at Tuxton Farm last Friday. I played a selection of popular songs and tunes on the electric violin while guests chatted, had a drink and even a bit of a dance!

Beautiful day for a wedding at the Venus Cafe on Blackpool sands. Congratulations to Sam and Rich. A mixture of classical music and pop and rock hits while the guests relaxed on the beach. Nice local wedding today, this time with the Exe Valley Trio. We played for Kate and Ben's wedding in Cheriton Bishop. A really lovely ceremony that was spoken both in English and French. We played our own bespoke arrangement of the theme to 'A Little Chaos' which was very well received. We then went off to the local barn to play for the drinks reception (while the rains came)

Lovely summer wedding today with the Exe Valley string Quartet. We played at a new venue for us The Moorland Hotel which is up by Haytor on Dartmoor. Stunning views! Great to play the ‘you and me song’ again for the wedding party exit. Great song. Congratulations to Jade and Jordan.

I had the pleasure of joining Exe Valley String Quartet and playing at the very beautiful Hareston Manor Weddings last Saturday. We even got to play in a tee-pee! We played 'At Last' for the entrance of the wedding party and 'You've got the love' for the exit. We also played a brand new arrangement of ' The Luckiest' by Ben Folds which is gorgeous!

Wow, what a Saturday!  I had the pleasure of playing on the beach at The Venus cafe Blackpool Sands for Fee and Simons wedding on Saturday. I played the Canon in D for Fee's entrance and then we rocked out to Mr Blue Sky which is a new piece in my repertoire.  I then drove a short distance to Ringmore by Bigbury to play at a suprise birthday party.  It was all very exciting as the birthday girl new nothing of the party or the fact that a violinist would be there to play her in.  Imagine her face when she walks into Sky full of stars by Coldplay! It was awesome! I then played a mixture of light jazz and classical favourites while the guests had a drink before dinner.
